Mark O'Connor, Esq.

Mark O'Connor received his law degree from the John Marshall School of Law in Chicago, in 1986. He graduated with distinction and was a member of The Order of Moot Court Executive Board; participated in the Honors Research and Writing Program; and served as the Law Student Director of the Chicago Coalition for Law Related Education.
As managing attorney for a large insurance group and later as an attorney in private practice, Mr. O'Connor has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in hundreds of litigation matters during his career. He has been successful at trial and throughout litigation, obtaining favorable verdicts for defendant clients and substantial verdicts and settlements for plaintiff clients.
Today, Mr. O'Connor is a Board certified specialist in injury and wrongful death litigation. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and has nearly 20 years of courtroom trial experience. He is a member of the Arizona State Bar, the Maricopa County Bar Association, The Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and The American Trial Lawyers Association. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars, and has taught a number of programs on trucking and safety litigation as well as litigating cases involving serious injuries and death. In addition, he presented at Arizona's Top Ten - How They Did It, a presentation by attorneys who obtained the ten largest jury verdicts during the previous year.
Recently, Mr. O'Connor was selected as a member of Trial Lawyers Care, a national organization established in the wake of September 11th. Mr. O'Connor provided pro-bono counsel to seven 9/11 survivors pursuant to The Victims Compensation Act.
