Michael Herzog, who is AV rated by Martindale-Hubble Law Directory, has practiced law in the Phoenix area since graduating from the Arizona State University College of Law in 1979. For the next five years, Mr. Herzog worked at one of the oldest firms in the state, Stockton & Hing, handling a wide variety of litigation and representing numerous insurance companies. He went on to become managing attorney for Transamerica Insurance Group and later managing attorney for CIGNA. In each instance, he defended individuals and companies in a wide range of litigation.

Mr. Herzog has been active in litigation in Maricopa County for more than 25 years and is a certified specialist in personal injury and wrongful death litigation. He has extensive experience, having represented both plaintiff and defendants in numerous personal injury actions involving claims of serious injury or death.

Mr. Herzog has also represented both plaintiffs and defendants in numerous insurance contract disputes.

Since 1988, Mr. Herzog has served as a judge pro tempore in the civil division of the Maricopa County Superior Court. In this role, Mr. Herzog has presided over jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations and settlement conferences. He presently provides both mediation and arbitration services in many types of disputes, both before and during litigation.
